From my Notebook
Here I am, toying around in Cheetah 3D. Great software for the price—very polished in a lot of ways, even if the documentation is somewhat lacking.
Not much time has gone into this project (no windows, no doors, no observatory) but it’s fun to learn new software while building up a little scene.
Notice the depth of field effect (focal blur) which was much easier to use in C3D than in some other packages, once I adjusted to the difference. The default lens diameter of 0.035 is, I think, 35mm. The picture above is shot at 0.200 lens diameter, enough to start giving it a tilt-shift effect.
