This was a real nice run! Every piece was well done and had its own creativity in it - thanks to all for making it enjoyable.

About the longer time I think it's ok, easier to keep it on the 'safe' side, I often get distracted by other stuff, like the tv or something while modelling so it's hard to keep track of the time spent on the scene.
My first contest participation and I enjoyed it very much.
Very diverse entries on the alien topic. Regarding the alien part of the contest (not the background or the story around...) I liked ObNox's best and therefore you got my vote!

Congratulations, ObNoX! I was thinking the same adjective -- "psychedelic" -- to describe your scene.
The extra time was convenient, but my overbuilt concept took all of it... It might be slightly less hectic if it was, say, 2 hours?
