Ok, I've finished!
I think, I'll find some time tomorrow to upload the images and write a little accompanying text.
Btw, one question and two suggestions, Blacklemon:
Q1: The pics you posted in your first post, only examples or your contest entry already?
S1: Let's add an "i" to the thread title.
S2: Let's revert the voting system to "old school", perhaps? Public voting thread, once you feel enough entries have been made to close the contest. Then give everybody a week to vote (everybody? only participants?). That would be far more communicative than off-forum email voting - and hopefully more fun, too.
Oh, and come on guys, sacrifice an hour and drop an entry!

Only examples
S1: Let's add an "i" to the thread title.
I'm a little Confused

How about both ways?
You can e-mail or post.

--- Official entry ---
As you know, the ethics section of my brain felt slightly uneasy about the task to model weapons. While looking for an object to model inspiration struck me and I decided to do the following. I really like it, because it is far from violent in the first place, is enough of a challenge for my modelling and texturing skills, and it fits in so well with Friendlyskies: who would use it on a rainy day? The perfect addition for a Friendlyskies Arsenal!
The only people I can think of who would find it inappropriate I'd call "Holzspielzeugfraktion" in German.
However, my ethical concerns are limited: my second best idea was a menacing implementation of Blacklemon's infamous bladegun, hehe.
The first is my favorite! But to show off the geometry and comply with contest rules I added two more views of the model.
The water pistol is a single polymesh object (blue), the pumping mechanism is an assembly of many objects (white). No post-processing used, I only added the sticker and my name in PS.
I like the result.

I think a moderator needs to do that.
By the way. Nice weapon!
Awesome sticker!

Great modelling! Kryos
Thank you, vidiot, Blacklemon and Truth!
@vidiot: And I thought, I had to explain "Holzspielzeugfraktion" to our foreign friends. Instead, I have to ask for the meaning of "steinstark"?
Sounds like said by one of the Flintstones?
@Blacklemon: Hehe, after I scribbled it onto a piece of paper on my desktop, I had to get it into the virtual world and on the pictures!
Btw, it seems our thread title doesn't like to be pushed!
So, I'll remain silent on this topic from now on.

Yes - that is what Fred says in the german translation...
Yes, I checked, I can't edit the title after someone has posted. Looks slly wth no I's

Hi!
Nice waterpistol
Got my PC back from the shop (new motherboard and some upgrade...), so here's my humble attempt. At first I was thinking of something out of an Y-shaped piece of wood and rubber band but ende up with another classic.
Edit: here are a couple of animations.
