Topic: save a texture

I was looking around the AOI wiki at the texture repository.
How do I download and save the textures for later use?

Can I texture a Group of faces on an object while the other face on the object are a different color or texture ?( without uv mapping)

Is there a way to save a selection to be used later, if not maybe that should be a feature in the near future. sort of a clip board of for selections and maybe with the option to name each selection.

Just save the .aoi file.  When you want to bring the texture into another file, use the Import button on the texture dialogue. See:
